Thread anti-adhesive surface modification technology
The hazard of thread hooking
Drilling machinery (such as oil drilling tools and prospecting machinery) is important in geotechnical engineering. Taking oil drilling tool as an example, if the gluing occurs between the drill threads, the number of times the drill can be reused is reduced, and even the machine could be falling apart and dropping to the well. Therefore, it is of great economic value to take effective measures to prevent the drilling machine tool threads from gluing.

Common anti-gluing approaches and their weaknesses

-
Applying grease on threads
The high-temperature grease is applied between the fastening threads. In this way, the anti-adhesive performance of threads can be improved because of abrasion resistance, extreme pressure performance, sealing, and rust prevention of grease. However, the high temperature generated during the shackle process usually causes carbonization and failure of the thread grease. Therefore, when used in an environment with a high temperature, the sealing performance of the thread grease is lowered.

Surface phosphating modification
The surface chemical reaction is used to form a phosphating layer on the surface of the thread, which prevents the threaded contact surface from sticking during the shackle. However, the phosphating technology usually has problems such as brittleness of the phosphating film, coarse crystals, peeling of the film layer, and inconvenience in phosphating the long rods and tubes. For alloy steel, high-chromium steel, stainless steel (such as Super 13 chrome), nickel-based alloys and other materials, surface phosphating is not really an option.

FJY-series thread anti-gluing and anti-buckling copper alloy technology
FJY-series fast, environmentally-friendly, neutral brush copper-plated alloy complete technology overcomes the shortcomings of traditional copper plating technology. We also have successfully developed a technology that can inhibit the discoloration of copper plating layer and non-corrosion-removing copper technology. Customization is the outstanding feature of our technologies. We offer different series of surface anti-gluing treatment solutions for drilling tools with different material bases. For instance, we provide treatment solutions which can be used for drill threads with carbon steel (P110, J55, N80, etc.), alloy steel (35CrMo, 42CrMo, etc.), high chromium steel (1Cr13, etc.), and stainless steel (0Cr series stainless steel, super 13Cr, etc.).
